Ms. Tan Hong Feng graduated from University of Reading with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) and she subsequently completed both qualification exams in the year of 2014, namely the Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in Malaysia, and Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at Nottingham Law School, in the United Kingdom.
Thereafter, she chambered at a medium sized firm located in Kuala Lumpur where she has been involved in developer projects, preparation of loan documentations, drafting and vetting of various kinds of contracts, and assist senior lawyer in general litigation from time to time.
She was called to the English Bar as a Barrister-at-Law and to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, both in the year of 2016.
Ms. Tan started her legal career in Banking litigation. She handled matters in relation to debt recovery, by way of foreclosure and Bankruptcy Proceedings, for the bank clientele.
Following this, Ms. Tan had spent two years in conveyancing practice before she extended her area of practice into litigation in her former employment, in which she get exposed to general litigation, highly contested litigation matters, appeal matters (High Court Appeal and Court of Appeal), Industrial Relations matters (disputes between employers and employees), accident matters, divorce matters, Probate and Resealing.
In her 5 years of practice, Ms. Tan also gets exposed to drafting and vetting of various kinds of agreement including but not limited to Shareholders Agreements, Partnership Agreements and Non-disclosure Agreement for the company clientele.
Ms. Tan continues her legal practice bearing with her the passion for law, she hopes to contribute in the area of litigation, conveyancing and corporate and achieve optimum and practical outcomes for the clients.
